AUSTRALIA’S DJ NINO BROWN TO RELEASE SINGLE WITH DR DRE’S PROTÉGÉ KING MEZ, AND ANNOUNCES LABEL DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL MUSIC AUSTRALIA
Australia’s DJ Nino Brown has inked a distribution deal with Universal Music Australia for his brand new label, Digital Dope Music. Nino has had a long-term relationship with Universal Music, who distributed and marketed his successful R&B and Hip-Hop Mixtape Album “Blazin”, which went on to sell over half a million copies, and consistently topped the compilation charts for over a decade. Having shared the stage with artists such as Jay-Z, Rihanna, Nelly, Snoop, Akon, The Game, Lupe Fiasco, Ice Cube and many more, and having toured consistently throughout Australia, Asia and Dubai over the last 15 years, Nino has recently moved into production, remixing hits for artists including Timomatic, Justice Crew and Sean Paul.
Nino’s first release on Digital Dope Music is “Go Wild” which is a festival trap record that Nino was inspired to make after his experience on the Goodlife 2015 Tour. Brown says of the record “I’ve been super inspired by the trap sound coming out of the US at the moment, I love the energy and the combination of styles and genres. After seeing some of the performances on Goodlife, I love to incorporate a 10-15 minute trap section during my club sets now”.
